Non-Collectable Card Games

i literally do not know the limit of the range of games i can obtain - or even of the range of games that are currently in print! No fully reliable & up-to-date listing exists or, i suspect, is even possible (though some brave souls, such as those at Games Quarterly, do try); e-mail me v$imt$v at my sub-domain, i-m-t.demon.co.uk, for any further details you may require - including news of whether i may be able to obtain any particular game you want that i've not listed, for you.

Collectable Card Games and Board Games have their own pages.

"in" = is in stock;
"available" = advised available & orderable, but not ordered for shop stock
- leastways, not yet!

N.B: the main "interesting games" wholesaler advised that, with the fall of the ukL from us$2 to ~us$1.50, the cost prices and therefore the ukL rrps of games imported from merkia are rising by ~30% above their pre-November 2008 prices as they re-stock them; this is unavoidable.
some of the new, higher ukL prices have already begun to feed through, so if there are games, sourcebooks, expansions and adventures already in stock (or that were announced as available) prior to November 2008 that you know you want, please don't leave buying them too long, or their prices could easily be (roughly) one third higher than they are now...
i'm guesstimating the likely new rrps, when i sell out of a game or expansion; this sometimes proves to be on the high side, sometimes on the low - i'll correct this, once the re-stock and its invoice arrives. - ppint.

first, a short mystery section:

Shot into space and long ago forgotten, six tribes of monkeys have been competing fiercely with one another ever since, at least in theory to advance their tribe's civilisation, as well as power, above that of their fellow-spacemates - though most take long enough to get the hang of basic grooming: you, the players, alone have learned how to repair the ships that stranded you all upon the moon. But collecting a crew may be a harder struggle: some tribes refuse to have aught to do with others; some individual monkeys wield more power than others; and some simply can't stand the sight of you. How do you bring freedom to, and return to Earth, the most revered influential monkeys?

    • The Red Dragon Inn New game in 19th September 2007 ukL 28.99
between you, you've done it! Deidre, the round-heeled, weak-headed (but she packs a mean punch as well; as a full healing kit) Priestess of the Goddess, Gerki, the master lock-pick, poisoner and suspiciously successful card-sharp; Fiona, the striking (in various ways, many of them sharp & edged or pointy) warrior-maiden with a cast-iron constitution - but no head for figures; and Pooky, psychotic, binge-drinking rabbit familiar (with Zot, the bookworm of a wizard, to clear up in Pooky's wake - and incidentally protect the whole party), your adventuring days are over, no more dangerous - or more accurately foolhardy - risks will ever again be required of you - you've survived the Slog through the Endless Dungeons, you've killed All the Monsters and you've looted All their Stuff - you're Set for Life!
but first, a night's rest & relaxation in the local inn for you all - a rave-up in celebration of your success: a little wine or beer (or something stronger?), music & dancers, men & women, and song; and why not a little gambling, to liven up the night?
after all the risks you've taken, and the terrors you've survived, how can this Red Dragon possibly do more than relieve you of a little spare change?
how could anything possibly go wrong with a happy-go-lucky light-hearted celebration in your local?
designed by Geoff Bottone, Colleen Skadl & Cliff Bohm for 2-4 Players, Ages 13-96; 30-60 Minutes Playing Time
      - oh yes; and the Last Adventurer Conscious, With Gold is the winner...
    • The Red Dragon Inn 2 NEW GAME/GAME EXPANSION in 17th September 2008 ukL 28.99
introduces Eve, the Illusionist; Fleck, the Bard; Dimli, the Dwarf and Gog, the Half-Ogre; Four New Adventurer Party Characters who between you, and contrary to all reasonable expectation,'ve managed to pull it off! your adventuring days are over, no more dangerous - or more accurately foolhardy - risks will ever again be required of you - you've survived the Slog through the Endless Dungeons, you've killed All the Monsters and you've looted All their Stuff - you're Set for Life!
but first, a night's rest & relaxation in the local inn for you all - a rave-up in celebration of your success: a little wine or beer (or something stronger?), music & dancing, men, women & "other"; and song (or something bearing a vague resemblance to the same); and why not a little gambling, to liven up the night?
after all the risks you've taken, and the terrors you've survived, how can this Red Dragon possibly do more than relieve you of a little spare change?
how could anything possibly go wrong with a happy-go-lucky light-hearted celebration in your local?
well, Fleck's god's gift to women, irresistable, and he knows it; and he lets their menfolk know it, too; whilst Gog smells as strong as his not inconsiderable muscles, and has two left feet; Dimli may be a deadeye sureshot in battle with his axes - but in a pub, the darts may go anywhere; and Eve's a pretty good illusionist - but she gets bored very easily... and none of 'em'd hesitate to rifle a dead drunk colleague's pockets, purse or pack for more gold, to stretch the party just an hour or two longer - it's not as though they'dobject, if they were awake and sober[er] now, is it?
designed by Geoff Bottone, Colleen Skadl & Cliff Bohm for 2-4 [or, with both games, 2-8] Players, Ages 13-96; 30-60 Minutes Playing Time [longer, more like 60-100 Minutes, when both games played together with 5-8 Players]
and yes, Last Adventurer Conscious, With Gold is still The Winner - it's just that the competition is that much fiercer...
n.b. can be played as a stand-alone game or used as an expansion for Red Dragon Inn
[but *i wish* they'd taken the time to think up a better title for this game - even Return to Red Dragon Inn and provided the (otherwise fine) artwork with a strikingly different dominant colour from the first game - when it comes round to re-print time, guys - please ? - pp.]
