it is therefore relatively easy to allow players' characters to move from any one of these rpgs, to any other - whether the characters (or their players) realise this is what has happened;
it is also fairly easy to run games that combine say, the worlds of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and King Kong.
(whether or not it is a good idea to is, of course, a matter of gm's discretion - or lack thereof...)
