Warhammer Fantasy RPG Second Edition

Games Workshop have announced that they intend to close down their role-playing game publishers, Black Industries, in September 2008:
another games publisher has picked up remaining stocks and/or the rights to reprint published titles; i don't yet know for certain whether they'll actually be permitted to originate new material for this rpg (or for the out-of-print Dark Heresy, either), or how closely they'll be tied to changes in the War Games Worlds, which Games Workshop retain.
i would suggest not leaving off getting any of the titles currently available for this rpg that you want 'til too near this closing-date. - ppint.

The Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing Game has been revised by Chris Pramas of Green Ronin, and is now published by Black Industries. The core rulebook looks good, though it's much too soon to comment sensibly upon the revision - other than to state that the character career structure has been kept - and that it isn't d20: all dice rolls are either d10 or d100 - so a reasonably small number of d10s in two (or more) colours is all that's needed. (and ken walton's inclined to re-instate "cool" *g*);

Warhammer Fantasy RPG

With their surrender by James Wallis, founder of Hogshead Publishing, his publications of the Warhammer Fantasy Role-Playing Game rights reverted to Games Workshop, who've had work done on it (see above), and had it published by what i understand is a wholly-owned subsidiary. In the meantime, stocks of WHFRPG titles are liable to disappear fairly fast; all of these rpg titles are now out of print.
