- Charnel Houses of Europe: the Shoah (out of stock)
The history of the Holocaust and its impact upon the denizens of the World of Darkness, very heavily weighted towards that which was visited upon the jews of europe - to the point of severely distorting history, if this book should be the only source you use for the period, alas - all but glossing over that suffered by the gypsies, for example (which was proportionately worse than that suffered by european jewry, if not in absolute number), and completely ignoring the wholesale slaughter of the Polish officer class by the Russians at Stalin's order, in its coverage of Babi Yar. And I've spotted no reference at all to the western european democracies' - or to the U.S.A.'s - knowledge of, and complicity in, the slaughter of "inferior races" by the Germans and their willing helpers in occupied & incorporated territories.
But a useful sourcebook, with these reservations, and there is much information that will be essential, for any story running during this period, or in its aftermath

White Wolf's
Storyteller RPGs share a common system and a common setting, the
World of Darkness.
The magazine for White Wolf's RPGs was
White Wolf (unsuccessfully renamed Inphobia): check with me for back issues as are still available.
There are several series of
novels & anthologies, associated with White Wolf's World of Darkness setting and role-playing games, providing much background, as well as being readable in their own right.
